This project comprised a full design, production and installation service for a family run independent specialty coffee and homeware shop, with a focus on offering design led sustainable solutions, whilst also supporting local creatives and suppliers.

The brief was to produce a modern twist on a traditional apothecary, playing on the fact that they would be selling caffeine and using the slogan ‘Coffee & Other Remedies’.

The furniture package that we produced included the following:

Loose wooden furniture produced using reclaimed local hardwood, this included pedestal tables and a 3 metre long communal dining table with matching stools for hosting evening events.

An oak veneered counter with integrated coffee station, refrigeration and white goods. Finished with cork, terrazzo tiles and shaker panel detailing.

Wall mounted oak veneer shelving units and made to measure window displays,

A Chesterfield sofa upholstered in a distressed tan leather and wingback chair in Herringbone tweed wool.

Signage, on the shop front above the door and in the form of an A-Board, both of which were produced using a CNC machine and then hand painted.
